Researchers studied the bedrooms of 2,000 men and women to find out what color rooms lead to more and better sleep. They found that those snoozing in a blue room got more shut-eye. (MensHealth)
Here are the bedroom colors, and the average amount of hours the people in those rooms slept:
Blue − 7 hours, 52 minutes
Yellow − 7 hours, 40 minutes
Green − 7 hours, 36 minutes
Silver − 7 hours, 33 minutes
Orange − 7 hours, 28 minutes
Red − 6 hours, 58 minutes
Gold − 6 hours, 43 minutes
Gray − 6 hours, 12 minutes
Brown − 6 hours, 5 minutes
Purple − 5 hours, 56 minutes
Another finding: Those who had mirrors and a trapeze hanging from the ceiling and a stripper pole in the corner got absolutely no sleep whatsoever. AND THEY WEREN'T COMPLAINING!
