Well, my Green Bay Packers pulled "an Obama" and didn't show up for the second half of the game against the Colts. I guess I'm not TOO upset though, since I'm sure the Colts were playing that one for their head coach, who's battling Luekemia.

What's going on with the Hawkeyes? THREE arrests over the weekend?  The strangest one is Micah Hyde, who got in a foot chase with the cops...and lost! You mean, our starting cornerback can't outrun a cop!? A guy who's wearing body-armor, weapons dangling from his belt, and long pants OUTRAN a Hawkeye cornerback? Maybe the problem with the Hawkeyes isn't the arrests...but getting faster players!

I WAS happy to see my Wisconsin Badgers knock off Illinois (sorry Illini fans) over the weekend...and even happier to see my alma mater, Iowa State, knock off TCU! Which means it is ALSO nice to see the Iowa State Cyclones RANKED!!  #25 in the USA Today Poll!!  Can the BCS be far behind?

Hey...and thanks to everyone who wished me a happy 45th birthday over the weekend on Facebook! Turning 35 is so crazy!!  I mean, as a 25-year-old, I've still got 3/4's of my life left......
