Will the original lineup of Heart reunite in April at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction? Ultimate Classic Rock reported that according to original lead guitarist, Roger Fisher -- and former lover of guitarist Nancy Wilson-- the answer is yes. Fisher posted a message on his Facebook page, stating: "I haven't seen anyone announce it yet: THE ORIGINAL HEART LINEUP WILL PLAY AT THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY."

Back in December when the inductees were announced, Heart front-woman Ann Wilson made it pretty clear that she and sister Nancy Wilson, who have carried on leading Heart since the original lineup split in 1979, would be performing with their current, road-ready touring band, telling Rolling Stone: "The performing part might be different because of the whole Ann and Nancy Wilson versus the Heart band. We've been playing with our current band way, way longer than that. You know this is one of those things we'll need to dust off among ourselves. But we're both really happy if the initial lineup of guys gets acknowledged."

  • When Wilson was pressed if she was amenable for the sisters to reunite onstage with the original lineup, she said, "No. Nope."
  • The classic 1975 to 1979 Heart lineup being inducted into the Rock Hall is Ann & Nancy Wilson, lead guitarist Roger Fisher, bassist Steve Fossen, longtime guitarist/keyboardist Howard Leese, and drummer Michael DeRosier.
