In celebration of the 50th anniversary today (July 12th) the Rolling Stones have just released their latest archival live collection as part of their ongoing "official" bootleg series via Google Play. The new 23-track set -- Rolling Stones Tokyo Dome (Live 1990) -- chronicles the band's Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour and collects tracks from their February 26th show -- which was their ninth in a 10-night-stand. Tokyo Dome features an expanded and more rounded set than Flashpoint -- the band's 1991 official live album from the tour. Tokyo Dome features newly remastered sound by Bob Clearmountain.

In addition to the tour serving as bassist Bill Wyman's last before quitting the band, the tour -- which was the Stones' first in seven years -- featured the largest group of supplemental musicians to tour with the band -- including sax player Bobby Keys, keyboardists Chuck Leavell and Matt Clifford, backing vocalists Lisa Fischer, Cindy Mizelle, and Bernard Fowler, along with the Uptown Horns.
